Nationals is Here!
Wednesday we had our last Nationals practice. It was bitter, sweat. I can't believe this season is almost over - it has flown. Practice went extremely well. We were even able to clean up some of the little things that the judges always pick up on. I feel very confident taking this great team to Nationals. The 29 cheerleaders have improved tremendously since the beginning of the season. This is the most difficult routine Rose Tree has ever brought to a competition.

6 Days Until Nationals
I can't believe this time next week we will be at Nationals. This season has flown by. Today we had practice at LCI on the spring floor. It was a very productive practice and we were able to fix many of the stunts. I feel confident bringing the team to Nationals next weekend. As long as they take the floor like they are 1st place, they will do amazing! This team is full of talent! We are up against some difficult teams, but with a high-energy, clean routine, they have a chance. I am excited! Tomorrow may be our last practice though, because it is calling for snow again on Wednesday.

Cheer for Charity Competition
Yesterday we competed at the Cheer for Charity Competition. We did pretty well considering we had to change the routine the day before to take Laura out since she was injured. We just need to clean up the routine, make sure everyone knows where they are going, and work on the cheer. I have confidence that we will look great at Nationals!

A Successful Season
"Judge your success by what you had to give up to get it! To have a truly successful season is not hard, simply have fun, make friends, and give 110% at all times."

13 Days Until Nationals
Today was a productive, but difficult practice. We were able to change a lot of our routine around to make the routine flow smoother. The stunts were hitting and the routine seemed to start to come together. Unfortunately in moving everything around, cheerleaders were getting hurt. Everyone seemed tired which could have been a factor in many of them in tears or hurt. We had two girls get injured; Bri is okay, but Laura strained her ankle and can't cheer until Wednesday. Luckily at practice we moved some cheerleaders around to fill in for her in case this was the case.
I am excited to be competing tomorrow! I have a good feeling about it and think we will do really well. The competition is in the afternoon, so hopefully that will be an advantage because the team should be well-rested.

17 Days Until Nationals
I can't believe there are only 17 days until Nationals. This season has flown by. I am excited for Nationals and our routine this year is the most difficult routine that we have put together.
Tonight's practice went well. I wish we could have figured out and hit the single base libs, but our regular libs look great and solid. I am so proud of Emily and her group for working together and hitting their lib. They really worked hard and didn't give up until Emily was able to hit it. That makes me so proud. My last goal would be to work on the end stunt.
